With the continued extremely high demand for crossover cars and Wallace SUV, Toyota decided to unveil an all-new crossover based on the most famous and best-selling Corolla model in the world, bringing the new compact crossover under the name Toyota Corolla 2021.

Toyota Corolla 2021 is based on the same TGNA-C platform as the Corolla and C-HR models, and in terms of size we find it located between the small C-HR Crossover and the larger RAV4.

The Corolla 2021 has a distinct design that is more simple compared to the design of the C-HR, with a huge front grille and the lower side panels and protection on all sides in addition to the sharp headlights with built-in daylights and slightly prominent fender lines.

Although Toyota Corolla 2021 is shorter than Toyota Corolla by a slight difference, it is wider inside and has 5 spacious seats with a modern mid-screen, to be generally dependent on the cabin of the latest Corolla models.

Toyota launched the Corolla Cross 2021 in Thailand with two engines, the first being a 1.8-liter petrol engine with 140 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque, and the second a 1.8-liter petrol engine with 93 horsepower and 142 Nm of torque connected to a 600-volt electric motor with 72 hp and 163 Nm of torque.

Toyota Corolla 2021 will be introduced to the Thai market first this year, to reach some other markets around the world later, although it will most likely be available to the Asian market only.
